WHO WE ARE

MACN chefs embrace seasonality and preserve diversity while collaborating with the broader food community and supporting the local community and economy. Our network consists of over 50 individual chefs across the Madison area who participate in MACN meetings, events, and educational opportunities. Chefs who are part of the network are part of restaurants that are

  • brick-and-mortar,
  • locally-owned,
  • located in Southern Wisconsin,
  • and have independent capacity to make purchasing and marketing decisions.

If you are a chef and interested in getting more involved with MACN, we would love to hear from you.

CURRENT CHEF LEADERSHIP INCLUDES

Patrick DePula ( Salvatore's Tomato Pies )

EVENTS

MACN currently produces two marquee events annually - Yum Yum Fest and Chef Week.

Yum Yum Fest is an annual end-of-summer celebration organized by the Madison Area Chefs Network (MACN) at Madison Central Park. The festival features dishes and drinks from the most celebrated restaurants in the region. This wildly successful event is something you don't want to miss. You can learn more by visiting the Yum Yum Fest website. Information about Yum Yum Festival 2017 will be announced in early 2017.

MACN Chef Week will be in March 2017. This will be our 3rd annual! 30+ MACN chefs will combine menus, trade kitchens, and engage in a bit of healthy competition. Check back for more details soon!

If you are looking for chefs for your local food or charity event, we would be happy to make introductions and explore partnership.

MEETINGS

The Madison Area Chefs' Network facilitates and coordinates educational opportunities for chefs several times throughout the year. Meetings are a great time for chefs to network and learn from peers. We often times invite technical assistance providers to highlight their services and expertise in the restaurant industry. Please contact us to find out the next meeting time and location! We communicate via an email list and Facebook group.
